Art Teacher Once Again!

Hello everyone,
It's official, I am Lake Gem Elementary's Art Teacher for this coming school year!
I'm so excited to be back in the classroom teaching art with students. It is going to be a great year. I am so happy that I had the chance to work at Lake Gem for the last month of school. It gave me the opportunity to meet the kids, staff, and administration.
In fact, I have a brand new Smartboard in the art room. The students have shown me how to use it. I am hopeful that we can get the kiln up and running as well. Our students need the opportunity the work with such a tactile medium and I know they'll love it!

Spring Break Trip

I wanted to share some pictures from my ski trip to Taos, NM. I went skiing while my son and husband went snowboarding. It was a fun adventure.

Daily Art Journal

I've recently taken on a new project that a fellow art educator did during her master's program. She created a daily art journal where she drew something that occurred during her day, everyday. Then we later used this idea as an art project for our students in Westborough. I liked the idea so much that I've since started my own daily art journal and wanted to share some new work with you now...

Back to School

Hello friends:
I have finally given in and decided to return to the world of teaching art!
I hope to find a position here in Orlando with a public school. I will continue to bake cookies and sell them online but teaching is my true calling and I'm ready to get back to it!
